Optometric Assistant

Full-time Position: Expected hours: 40 per week
  • Must be available and flexible to work Monday-Wednesday & Friday-Saturday (some Thursdays).
  • Comprehensive paid training is provided - no prior experience required.

  • Reviewing patient health forms
  • Patient documentation/charting for medical records
  • Pre-testing & Diagnostic Imaging/Screenings
  • Supporting Clinical workflow

  • Patient education
  • Team coordination & communication
  • Overseeing clinical supplies
  • Patient check-in
  • Insurance eligibility verification & claims
  • Patient recalls & scheduling
  • Glasses & contact lens ordering
  • Boutique sales
  • Eyewear dispensing
  • Minor eyewear repairs​
